Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS)
The official website of the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS). If you are a foreign educated nurse and wish to become a Registered Nurse in the United States, this site is an important first step. Here you can find out about the CGFNS certification and testing programs. You will need to contact your state Board of Nursing to determine if the CGFNS is required before you can take the NCLEX®.
